In a landmark judgment delivered on 27 April 2026, the Federal High Court, Abeokuta Division, in Dr. Ope Banwo v. Ogun State Government & Ors. (Suit No. FHC/AB/CS/105/2025), reaffirmed the importance of transparency in government dealings by directing the Ogun State Government and other Respondents to disclose relevant information relating to the 45-year Public Private Partnership agreement entered into with Arise Integrated Industrial Platforms (ARISE IP) for the development of the Remo Economic Industrial Cluster in Sagamu.
